No single crypto swap aggregator suits everyone. The right one depends on three things: the chains you use, whether you are willing to connect your wallet to a site, and how much you are swapping.
On 7 October 2026 we asked SwapBee's providers to quote the same ETH-to-USDT swap at two sizes. A DEX aggregator gave the highest quote on the small swap and an exchange service on the large one. Both times, the highest and lowest quotes were about 5% apart.
SwapBee publishes this guide and is one of the services compared. 1inch, 0x, KyberSwap, LI.FI, Bungee and SwapGate, all mentioned here, are among SwapBee's 22 providers (as of 26 October 2026). Figures from competitors' own pages link to their source, checked on 7 October 2026 unless an archive date is given; quote figures come from our dated sample.
A DEX aggregator looks for a price across decentralised exchanges; Odos says it can split a trade across many pools. You connect your wallet, approve the token if needed, and sign. Odos says DEX aggregators don't hold your funds directly, but the contracts they use can spend them (Odos, as archived 22 January 2026). We'd approve only what you swap. You usually need the native coin for gas, though some services offer gasless modes.
These add bridges. A route can swap, bridge, then swap again on the next chain, and you may sign more than one transaction.
These ask many providers for a price on the same swap and line the answers up. SwapBee works this way. On SwapBee you send coins from your own wallet to a deposit address made for your swap, with no account and no wallet connection, and the new coins go to an address you choose. There are no accounts, balances or pooled wallets: most swaps send your deposit straight to the provider, and on-chain DEX swaps use a one-time swap address SwapBee operates, which executes the swap and sends the output to your wallet automatically. Before you confirm, each quote's provider policy shows who holds your deposit. As of 26 October 2026, that is a one-time address SwapBee operates for LI.FI, 0x, KyberSwap, Bungee and 1inch, and the provider's deposit address for the other 17. The provider may ask for checks, and in exceptional cases SwapBee may ask for information (AML policy).
The facts below come from each service's own documentation, checked on 7 October 2026 (Odos from archive copies, dated in its row). Fees and chain lists change often, so check the source.
| Service | Type | Chains, per its own pages | Fees, per its own pages |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1inch | DEX aggregator | 17 EVM networks and Solana | Swap interface: resolvers usually pay gas, except on Solana or when selling a native coin. Aggregator routes: you pay gas and any infrastructure fees. 1inch Business keeps any positive slippage (source) |
| Matcha | DEX aggregator | The page lists multiple EVM chains and Solana but not a chain count | 0.25% on most same-chain pairs, none between stablecoins; Auto includes gas, Standard charges it separately. Cross-chain: 0.40%, or 0.04% between stablecoins, plus gas. Matcha may keep part of any price improvement |
| Jupiter | Routes trades across venues | Solana (the page lists Solana but not other chains) | Up to three: Solana network fees, a Jito tip in some Manual Mode setups, and a Jupiter commission of 0–0.5% in Ultra Mode |
| CoW Swap | Intent-based; solvers compete to fill orders | 10 CoW Protocol networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum and Base (list) | Half of any improvement over your quote, capped at 0.98% of the order, plus a volume fee of 0.02% (0.003% between correlated assets such as stablecoins) |
| Odos | DEX aggregator | 15 chains (source, as archived 22 January 2026) | Market orders: 0.15% on volatile and custom assets, 0.03% on stablecoin swaps, plus gas (as archived 24 July 2026) |
| SwapBee | Compares quotes from up to 22 providers | 9,152 coin/network entries on 51 networks in its coin list (as of 26 October 2026) | Included in the quote: a share of the provider's fee, or a markup on on-chain DEX swaps; no separate fee; you pay the network fee to send |
A few others worth knowing:
We sampled live SwapBee quotes for ETH to USDT on Ethereum on 7 October 2026, between 11:13 and 11:28 UTC. Each quote is the estimated amount you would receive after fees.
| Swap | Quotes | Highest quote | Highest DEX aggregator quote | Lowest quote | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.05 ETH (about $129) | 19 | 128.20 USDT, KyberSwap | 128.20 USDT, KyberSwap | 121.22 USDT | 5.4% |
| 20 ETH (about $51,644) | 20 | 51,410 USDT, SwapGate | 51,331 USDT, KyberSwap | 48,926 USDT | 4.8% |
What the sample shows:
A provider's own app may show a different price; 1inch, for example, says its fees depend on the trading mode. Prices change constantly, so treat these quotes as dated examples, not a price list.
SwapBee is part of the BlockBee ecosystem. It asks several of its 22 providers (as of 26 October 2026) for a live quote on every swap: exchange services, DEX aggregators such as 1inch and KyberSwap, cross-chain aggregators such as LI.FI and Bungee, plus 0x for same-chain swaps. The widget labels the first quote "Best" (a ranking that weighs price and speed) and adds a second label to the quote that pays out the most; they can be the same quote.
It suits you if you want to compare many providers without connecting a wallet or opening an account. If you'd rather sign the trade from your own wallet, use a DEX aggregator directly.
There isn't one for every swap. In our 7 October 2026 sample, the top quote came from a different provider at each trade size. Choose by your chains and how you want to swap, then compare live quotes.
Sometimes. In our 7 October 2026 sample, a DEX aggregator gave the highest quote on a swap worth about $129 and an exchange service on one worth about $51,644. Our guide to best execution explains why prices differ.
You need a wallet to send from and an address to receive. DEX aggregators also ask you to connect that wallet to their site and sign there; with SwapBee you just send coins from your wallet to a deposit address. More on how swap aggregators work.
SwapBee doesn't charge a separate fee, but it does earn from your swap. On swaps through exchange services, the provider shares part of its fee with SwapBee. On on-chain DEX swaps, SwapBee adds a small markup to the quote. Both are already in the quote you see; nothing is added on top. Your wallet also charges its usual network fee to send the deposit. The final amount can differ slightly from the quote if the price moves.
Popular swaps: ETH to USDT, ETH to USDC, BTC to ETH, SOL to USDC.
