What Is SwapBee? Features, Supported Chains and Fees

The facts about SwapBee in one place: how a swap works, providers, coins and networks, fees, and the checks providers may ask for.

What is SwapBee?

SwapBee is a crypto swap aggregator. It asks its providers for quotes on your swap, lists them side by side, and passes your order to the one you pick. You need no account and connect no wallet: you send coins to a one-time deposit address, and the new coins go to the address you gave. SwapBee doesn't charge a separate fee, but it does earn from your swap. On swaps through exchange services, the provider shares part of its fee with SwapBee. On on-chain DEX swaps, SwapBee adds a small markup to the quote. Both are already in the quote you see; nothing is added on top (see our terms). Your wallet also charges its usual network fee to send the deposit. There are no accounts, balances or pooled wallets: most swaps send your deposit straight to the provider, and on-chain DEX swaps use a one-time swap address SwapBee operates, which executes the swap and sends the output to your wallet automatically.

This is our own plain profile, written from SwapBee's site, terms and live data on 9 October 2026. For pros and cons, see the SwapBee review.

How does a swap work?

  1. Pick the coins and the amount. SwapBee asks its providers for quotes. Our terms say the option shown first is the one that looks most advantageous at that moment, "in terms of exchange rate and/or expected execution time". The widget labels the first quote "Best" and adds a second label to the quote that pays out the most; you can pick any quote.
  2. Enter your addresses. You set a receiving address; most providers also ask for a refund address. Slippage tolerance runs from 0.25% to 5%, with a default of 1%, and applies only to providers that support it.
  3. Confirm. The order screen names the provider and links its rules and privacy policy. SwapBee passes the order to that provider. After you confirm, you get a Swap ID to track the swap.
  4. Send the coins. There is no account and no wallet connection: you send your coins to a deposit address. The status moves from Pending Deposit to Confirming, Processing and Success.
  5. Receive. The new coins go to your address. The help centre says swap times vary with the networks and the provider, and that most swaps finish "within minutes to an hour".

There are no accounts, balances or pooled wallets: most swaps send your deposit straight to the provider, and on-chain DEX swaps use a one-time swap address SwapBee operates, which executes the swap and sends the output to your wallet automatically. Before you confirm, each quote's provider policy shows who holds your deposit. As of 26 October 2026, that is a one-time address SwapBee operates for LI.FI, 0x, KyberSwap, Bungee and 1inch, and the provider's deposit address for the other 17. Our terms say the swap contract is between you and the provider.

What does SwapBee charge?

SwapBee doesn't charge a separate fee, but it does earn from your swap. On swaps through exchange services, the provider shares part of its fee with SwapBee. On on-chain DEX swaps, SwapBee adds a small markup to the quote. Both are already in the quote you see; nothing is added on top (see our terms). Your wallet also charges its usual network fee to send the deposit. The help centre says SwapBee does not control or change provider fees.

Two more points from our terms. First, displayed rates are "indicative estimates only"; the provider sets the final rate at execution time. Second, the terms say that, unless expressly stated otherwise, all applicable fees are included in the final rate shown, so the quoted amount is the one to compare.

If you receive a little less than quoted, the help centre puts it down to price moves within your slippage tolerance and to network fees.

Which coins and networks does SwapBee support?

As of 26 October 2026, SwapBee compares quotes from 22 providers and lists 9,152 coin/network entries across 51 blockchains. Each coin counts once per network: on SwapBee's 9 October 2026 list, WBTC had nine entries, one each on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Solana, Optimism, Avalanche and Mantle.

The blockchains on that 9 October list included Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Base, Litecoin, Dogecoin, XRP, TON and Monero. Not every provider quotes every pair, and each provider sets a minimum amount, which the widget shows before you confirm.

How do refunds, Swap IDs and checks work?

  • Refund address. Most providers ask for a refund address: 20 of the 22 require one (as of 26 October 2026). The refund address is where the provider can return your coins if the swap fails. Refunds follow the provider's policies and decisions. It must be on the same network as the coin you send, and it should be an address you control.
  • Swap ID. Keep it. It lets you track the swap, and support asks for it. The help centre says to contact support if a swap has taken more than 24 hours.
  • Address checks. Copy and paste addresses, check the network, and never send to an address you are unsure about. Crypto transfers can't be reversed, and SwapBee cannot recover coins sent to a wrong address.
  • Expired swaps. If a swap shows as expired, do not send coins to its address.
  • Provider checks. Providers may run their own identity or other checks under their own policies; a swap that needs action from you shows "Action Required". SwapBee does not run standard identity checks as part of normal operations, but may ask for limited information in exceptional cases. Where it sees risk, it may refuse to route a swap. Our AML policy explains how checks are split between SwapBee and providers.

What doesn't SwapBee do?

Our About page lists three things SwapBee isn't: a direct exchange, a wallet service ("you need your own wallet") or a financial adviser.

Our terms go further. SwapBee does not hold balances, trade on its own account, or offer fiat services. It makes no promise on rates, timing or outcomes, and does not control a provider's compliance or refund decisions; refunds follow the provider's policies and decisions.

The site is operated by SwapBee Inc., under terms effective 12 December 2025. SwapBee launched on 16 December 2025 (launch post) and added its Telegram bot in May 2026. SwapBee is part of the BlockBee ecosystem.

Will I have to verify my identity?

SwapBee does not run standard identity checks, though in exceptional cases it may ask for limited information. The provider may also ask for checks under its own policies. See our AML policy.
